A nonprofit organization in Middletown honoring athletes and other sports minded individuals since 1993
For more than a century, the people of Middletown have taken sports seriously. The Middletown Sports Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving the accomplishments of individuals and teams. Induction of men and women began in 1994, some posthumously. Every individual inducted into the Middletown Sports Hall of Fame was an accomplished athlete, coach, trainer, manager or contributor to Middletown Sports . Every year, residents of Middletown are invited to nominate inductees.
We recognize superior athletic accomplishments in our local public and private schools, the Universities and Colleges, and other organizations such as the American Legion and Little League. We also recognize Middletown residents who have left to make a mark in other towns and states, even abroad.
In recent years we have inducted local teams that have won championships and titles. Those include school teams and teams that are part of local organizations.
